The original American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson, was spotted grabbing a bite to eat at a deli in New York City over the weekend.  She definitely was sporting a casual look but I’m glad she’s trying to live a normal life and almost blends in with the other pedestrians – I wouldn’t have recognized her.
Maybe if she wants to go incognito in the future, she should tone down the shirt.

American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson, had a little fun with her friends covering Miley Cyrus’ hit song “The Climb” from her Hannah Montana: The Movie soundtrack.  This is just yet another reminder of what a great singer Kelly is and, of course, this was informal but I thought the harmonizing was pretty great.

The original American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson, performed on last night’s VH1 Divas and I thought she was great.  She did a duet with Melissa Etheridge which was great considering how strong their voices are.  They sang “Bring Me Some Water” and there were some slight pitch problems but aside from that, I thought it was genius to pair these two up.
Also, I know that a lot of my readers here have given Kelly some flack for being heavy but I’m loving how confident she looks and moves.  Go Kelly!

It’s no secret that American Idol alum, Kellie Pickler, and Taylor Swift are very close friends.  They’ve written songs together, toured together and are spotted hanging out all the time so I wasn’t surprised when Kellie showed her frustration of Kanye West stealing what should have been an amazing moment from Taylor at the 2009 MTV Video Awards last night.
Kellie tweeted, "Tator Tot, you handled yourself with Grace. Kanye, go grow some f-ing balls, bi—! don’t mess w/my lil sis!!"

Kelly Clarkson was on Good Morning America a few days ago where she performed some older and new music including “Walk Away” and “Already Gone.”  The crowd really went wild when Robin Roberts brought up the fact that Kelly is the original winner American Idol.  I guess all those people who voted for her still love her!
Robin also mentioned Kelly’s 11 dogs and a cat (she rescues animals) and the fact that the singer goes barefoot on stage and has a fan to keep her cool (Kelly mentions that she has a perspiration problem!  Ha ha!).

The music video for Kelly Clarkson’s new single “Already Gone” has been released and she’s none too pleased about the whole thing even though she looks really beautiful. 
If you heard the song and felt like you were having déjà vu you aren’t imagining things.  The music for the song is remarkably similar to that of Beyoncé’s song “Halo.”  This isn’t a case of Kelly copying someone else – both singers got the shaft.

Kelly Clarkson is hitting the road again!  This time the very first American Idol is embarking on her “All I Ever Wanted” tour starting on October 2, 2009 in Connecticut.  Sales for the first few shows go on sale on August 15, 2009 so I’ll update you on that closer to that date.  Opening acts will include The Veronicas (Take Me on the Floor) and Parachute (She Is Love ).

American Idol’s first winner, Kelly Clarkson, performed her new single “Already Gone” on Late Night With David Letterman last night.  She sounded absolutely amazing.  I’m so happy for her!  She also looked really good too (I didn’t love the sleeves on that shirt but that’s a personal opinion).   This is a shot of her arriving – fortunately she changed out of this bright sweater and top
