Former American Idol finalist, Kellie Pickler, performed at the 2009 Country Stampede Music Festival which took place from June 25-28.  The four-day event is the largest annual music festival in Kansas and, this year, it featured a great lineup including Tim McGraw, Dierks Bentley and Blake Shelton among others.

It looks like Kellie really enjoyed herself which is great.  It’s so important to love what you do and I always hate to see someone performing who looks like they’d rather be somewhere else.

Former American Idol finalist, Kellie Pickler, has revealed (watch the video) that she has been dating Kid Rock for more than a year but the couple have managed to keep their relationship a secret.  What do you think of this?  I would have never paired these two up in a million years.

If she’s happy then I’m happy for her.  I just can’t get over his marriage to Pamela Anderson and how abruptly she filed for divorce.  Hopefully, things are different with Kellie.

Kellie Pickler looked gorgeous at the 2009 CMT Music Awards last night in both her red carpet dress and the outfit she wore during her performance. 

She performed “Best Days Of Your Life” and was nominated for Female Video of the Year and Video of the Year for “Don’t You Know You’re Beautiful” but ended up losing both times to her close friend, Taylor Swift, for her hugely popular “Love Story.”

Watch Kellie’s performance below. I think that she’s definitely gotten better at singing this song live but she still had a few shaky moments. Overall, it was pretty good for an awards show appearances since I’m sure it’s pretty scary to sing in front of all those other country stars!

Kellie also presented the “Breakthrough Video of the Year” award with fellow American Idol personality, Randy Jackson.  I know that I said Kellie looked good but Randy looked pretty great too!  Their dialogue was a bit silly, though.

The prize ended up going to the Zac Brown Band for their hit “Chicken Fried.”

Kellie is nominated for “Female Video Award” for “Don’t You Know You’re Beautiful.”  I sing that song constantly but I doubt she’ll win since she’s up against Taylor Swift for the hugely popular “Love Story” video.  Oh well.  It’s nice to be nominated! 

American Idol finalist, Kellie Pickler, got up on stage with Kid Rock at the 2009 Bama Jam which took place in Enterprise, Alabama over the weekend.  The lineup was incredible and included stars like Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton and Alan Jackson.

You know it’s either going to be scary or funny when a story starts with “I thought I was going to go to jail the other day” but, fortunately, it turned out to be the latter as American Idol finalist, Kellie Pickler, told Ellen about how she managed to get out of a ticket.

Apparently, she did a “tap and go” at a stop sign since there was no one around and didn’t feel that she needed to come to a complete stop.  Fortunately, the officer recognized her and, instead of issuing a ticket, he got her to take a few pictures with him.

Former American Idol finalists (and country music artists), Kellie Pickler and Bucky Covington, attended the Craig Morgan Charity Event earlier this week. 

The day began with a Motocross/ATV ride and there were some pretty cool pictures of Bucky and his twin brother, Rocky, riding and having a good time.

The evening also featured a concert and a silent auction with the proceeds going to the Craig Morgan Fund, which supports youth-based local and national charities.

American Idol season 5 finalist, Kellie Pickler, was spotted hanging out at Fashion Week and I think she looked really chic.  She’s come a long way from the big hair and tight clothes from her Idol days.

Kellie Pickler is the new spokeswoman for SexyHair products and filmed a segment (using the BigSexyHair line) for Access Hollywood about the experience.

After watching the behind-the-scenes footage from the photoshoots, I have to say that this ad campaign in hot!!!  Wow!  Kellie is, obviously, a very beautiful woman so I’m happy she was able to enjoy herself with this new gig.
