Hedley “Cha Ching” Music Video
October 25, 2009 by Jeanne
If you live in Canada, you’ve probably heard “Cha Ching” by Hedley which features former Canadian Idol contestant, Jacob Hoggard, as the lead singer. I know the video came out last month but I really didn’t pay too much attention to it at first but it seems like it’s just blown up all-of-a-sudden.
I can’t lie – the song is completely addictive. If you haven’t heard the song, check it out and if you aren’t familiar with Jacob consider yourself forewarned about his (loveable) oddities!
The single, which pokes fun at reality television shows, is from Hedley’s upcoming The Show Must Go …read more
Adam Lambert “Time for Miracles” Music Video
The video for Adam Lambert’s song, “Time for Miracles” has been released. The track will be included on his For Your Entertainment album that is coming out on November 23, 2009 but it will also be included on the 2012 soundtrack.
In the video, Adam walks through a disaster-stricken city looking both grimy and optimistic among a sea of panicking people. I’ve got to say that this is a perfect song for this type of movie and I think it could do very, very well.
Check it out and tell me what you think!
Katharine McPhee’s New Look and New Sound? Hot or Not?
October 17, 2009 by Jeanne
It’s been a few days since Katharine McPhee’s video for her new single “Had it All” hit the internet and I’d love to know what you think of it.
I know that she wants to set herself apart so she chopped off those gorgeous brown locks of hers and has opted for a short, blonde hairdo and I’ve got to say that I don’t really love it. It feels like she’s trying too hard but, then again, maybe I just need to get used to it.
As for the song, it’s not bad but I feel like her voice could …read more

October 14, 2009 by Jeanne
Jason Castro has just recently released the music video for his single, “Let’s Just Fall In Love Again.” The album has not yet received an official title, but rumor has it that the album will be self-titled. Originally, Jason was supposed to release the album on November 17th, but it has since been pushed back to have a release date in 2010.
The sweet singer explained of his forthcoming album, "I’ve poured my life into this album for the past several months – writing over 50 songs, recording a bunch of them and working to get each one just right. …read more
Jason Castro “Let’s Just Fall In Love”
August 19, 2009 by Jeanne
Have you heard Jason Castro’s new single “Let’s Just Fall In Love”? I saw it on YouTube and thought it might be great to share!
I think that the song is adorable and unusual and everything that you might expect from someone like Jason, who co-wrote the track.
The song is from Jason’s debut album (is there a title yet? I haven’t found one but would love to know what it is if you already know!) which is supposed to be coming out sometime in November 2009.
While there aren’t too many details available, you can still pre-order it! You should …read more
Guy Sebastian Releasing New Album in October
August 3, 2009 by Jeanne
Australian Idol winner, Guy Sebastian, will be releasing a new album called Like It Like That on October 9, 2009. I’m really interested in hearing what this new effort sounds like since it will feature John Mayer (one of my favorites!) and was recorded in the United States.
If you aren’t familiar with Guy, you should give him a chance because I think he’s got a great voice and I love his energy. I found the video for the title track “Like It Like That” so check it out and tell me what you think.
Kelly Clarkson “Already Gone” Video Plus Beyoncé Controversy
The music video for Kelly Clarkson’s new single “Already Gone” has been released and she’s none too pleased about the whole thing even though she looks really beautiful.
If you heard the song and felt like you were having déjà vu you aren’t imagining things. The music for the song is remarkably similar to that of Beyoncé’s song “Halo.” This isn’t a case of Kelly copying someone else – both singers got the shaft.
Kelly that she wrote this song with OneRepublic frontman, Ryan Tedder. She explained: "Ryan and I met each other at the record label, before he was working …read more
Danny Noriega “24/7” Music Video
June 10, 2009 by Jeanne
Do you remember Danny Noriega from Season 7 of American Idol? A lot of people really loved him but that didn’t stop him from getting voted off.
He created a music video for his song “24/7” and the song is actually not that bad (ok, I actually like it quite a bit – don’t judge me!). He’s got a pretty good voice but, of course, he’s as over-the-top as ever. Watch it and let me know what you think!
Sneak Peek: Jordin Sparks’ “Battlefield” Video
June 4, 2009 by Jeanne
After looking at this sneak peek of her video for her new single “Battlefield,” I can’t even explain how far Jordin Sparks has come since winning American Idol, but I’m thoroughly impressed.
Granted, this is just a 30-second clip but the look in her eyes, the quality of her makeup, her lip-synching ability (and did I mention the song?) practically scream the fact that this young woman has been maturing and growing as a person and an artist. I’m so happy for her!
I know she’s been hanging out a lot with model/singer, Steph Jones, (didn’t they look cute at the …read more
