Choose the Clay Aiken MusicPass Cover!

Clay Aiken’s new album “On My Way Here” will be released on May 6, 2008 and, in addition to coming out on CD and digitally, it will also be released in a new music format called a MusicPass. I guess they kind of look like gift cards (I just saw one for the first time this past weekend) and they give you access to the digital version of an album plus bonus music or video! Kinda exciting, eh?
For Clay’s MusicPass, fans can help choose which cover art will be used. There are three options (see above). There’s only a few hours of voting left so head over to clayaiken.com and vote while you still can!

Well at least this poll isn’t about Clay’s sex life. quite frankly Jeanne. You lost yourself a fan . I thought you were fair to ALL Idols, Obviously I was wrong in thinking you were anything but an ignorant idiot.

Jean, I’m just not going to talk about 10 month old articles anymore and I’m contemplating eliminating Clay Aiken from this site all together. It’s too much trouble. If there isn’t enough Clay, I’m against him, if there’s too much Clay people complain about the Claymates, if there’s a musical poll Clay fans accuse me of fixing the results (even though he wins every single flipping time).
It’s getting to the point of ridiculousness and I’ve heard over webmasters say they avoid Clay just to avoid his more over-the-top fans.
Sorry to Clay but it’s almost there for me.

The over the top fans are really such a small % of the overall fandom and yet they cause so much trouble for everyone else!
Please hang in there with those of us who truly appreciate your efforts and this site.
Jeanne, I’d hate to see Clay and his less enthusiastic fans miss out on info here because others can’t learn to play nicely. They don’t seem to get that in the end they are hurting themselves, and more importantly, Clay. The scary part is that if they are that adament in this….what in the world do they do in the “real” world?? Sca—ah–arry!
I also would point out that some are not even fans but enjoy stirring the stuff,, ya know? I imagine those sorts do it all over the net, and not just in relation to Clay, but anyone else they want to mess with. It’s the downside of the anonymity of the ‘net, and other communication forms. Some peeps just never grow up.

On more than one occasion I have commented on other sites that most often it is not Clay that others do not like, it is the way a FEW of his so called “Claymates” act. They are rude and overbearing and attack anyone that says the least negative thing about Clay. I am sure it is quite embarrassing to Clay and so unfair to him. Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinions and everyone has their favorite idol. He does not expect everyone to like all that he does. Clay has asked repeatedly that fans ignore the sick lies and still a few will argue and try to get back at the attackers to the point of being abusers themselves. It is quite frankly, awful and so damaging to Clay. Clay is a talented and honorable man that can stand on his own merits. Please do not punish Clay for the ignorance of others.
I love and appreciate your site and completely understand your position on this. I will continue to be your fan with or without Clay information. But . . . I sure would miss not seeing my favorite and much deserving Idol.

Jeanne, I visit this site almost everyday and really enjoy it. Sure would hate to see you eliminate information about Clay just because of a few OTT people. I enjoy the information about all the idols, including Clay. Please keep it coming.

Jeanne, I am so sorry that you get in the middle of the Clay conteoversy. I agree with the other posts, Afew rabid fans shouldn’t ruin it for the rest of us that enjoy info on Clay. You do a fantastic job on this website. It is my favorite. Thankyou for everything you do.
