Chris Cornell Collaborates with David Cook

American Idol winner, David Cook, is finally rocking out in a way that I knew he could with his new single “Light On” which was co-written by former Soundgarden/Audioslave singer, Chris Cornell. I’m such a big fan of Chris’ so I was thrilled when I heard about the collaboration.
What do you think of the song? I like it a lot more than “Time of My Life” and it definitely has the Cornell flavor to it. The track hits AOL today and will be available on iTunes on September 30, 2008. The full album is expected to be released on November 18, 2008.
I’m looking forward to hearing the whole album. Here’s “Light On” in case you haven’t heard it yet!
