Chris Sligh’s First Promotional Video

Chris Sligh is growing on me again! I had ambivalent feelings towards him at the end of his run on the last season of American Idol (and his strange dance with the media following his elimination) but I’m remembering why I loved him when I first saw him – he’s funny and talented and that can take you far. The fact that we’re still talking about him a year later is very telling (in my opinion). I’m actually really looking forward to what this new album has to offer – is anyone else out there interested?

The promo is 100% pure Sligh. You gotta love a guy who is comfortable enough with who he is and confident with his ability to poke fun at himself. He is one of the most underrated AI contestants of all time. Can’t wait for his album to come out in April!
I absolutely love this video! Let’s face it, Chris Sligh can sing, has great hair and a wicked sense of humor. His demos on his myspace are freaking awesome! I can’t wait until his new CD comes out.
