Clay Aiken on “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?”

American Idol’s second season runner-up, Clay Aiken, will be appear on an all-celebrity version of “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader” during the upcoming season. He co-founded The Bubel/Aiken Foundation (TBAF) which will receive at least $25,000 from the appearance. If Clay were to get all 11 questions right, his foundation would receive one million dollars. His foundation benefits children with developmental disabilities by enabling them to participate in activities such as swimming, baseball, archery, arts and crafts and physical fitness.
Clay will film the episode on August 28, but the air date is not clear. Either way, “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader” premieres on Thursday, September 6, 2007 on Fox.

I was at the taping. Clay was GREAT! The show is expected to air during Sweeps in November. Don’t miss it! And tell all your friends about it too. There’ll be Clayversions galore after this show airs!

Oh I thought I’d missed this when I read it but I see where someone said it’s on in November. Good, I think he’ll be perfect on that show, should be funny. guess he won’t get to sing though.

It’s been rescheduled. It’s going to be broadcast next Thursday eve, October 11th. Clay does an outstanding job on the show. Set your VCR’s, Tivo’s, or DVR’s! You won’t want to miss it.
