Clay Aiken Preparing for Fatherhood?

I don’t know if this is true but TMZ.com is reporting that American Idol star, Clay Aiken, is going to be a father! They claim that multiples sources are saying that the mother of his child to be is someone named Jaymes Foster (the 40 year-old sister of music mogul, David Foster), who is a record producer and Clay’s best friend. Apparently, when he is in Los Angeles, he lives with her.
In terms of pregnancy details, they are saying that Foster, who was allegedly artificially inseminated, is due in August.
Do you believe this?!?!?! Claymates – help me out!!! I need details!

Apparently TMZ claims that it has been verified by someone who works for David Foster. Now taht is a weird place to get it verified from.

I think Foster was at Spamalot recently and was not aware anyone reported a baby bump.
I neither believe or don’t believe it, but it sure is bringing out the trolls on a lot of fan sites. people who have not posted in years!
IF it is true then Clay must be thrilled. LaLate.com says “confirmed”. Clay was reported to have said not too long ago that he “wanted to be a father so bad”. It doesn’t seem too far-fetched since I certainly thought he seemed to be exceptionally happy during the OMWH promos and if true, I can understand why. Also, it would be another good reason not to tour this summer.
I just hate that the smutty TMZ got the scoop. Can’t stand that show.
So is Jaymes 40 or 50 as reported on Fox? Fox made a point to say Jaymes was 21 years older than Clay and then showed David (age 58) with a much younger girl on his arm. Regardless, if it is true, I pray the baby is healthy, inherits that amazing voice & sense of humor and . . . has red hair. Hey, I am partial to red hair. Oh yeah – one more, the child needs to visit NC often to pick up the accent. I am also partial to Southern accents and really decent people.

I just have to add one more (really irrelevant) comment. That picture of Clay above reminds me sooooooo much of the look near the end of Bridge Over Troubled Water on AI2. I don’t care how much he’s grown up or changed his hairstyle in the last five years – it’s the same adorable face. Da baby’s daddy sure is cute!

Yeah it’s been reported everywhere…news, radio…everywhere…but why didn’t they get pregnant the natural way? Are they NOT a couple…just want a baby? hmmmm
Hmmm, neither people.com nor lalate.com have pulled the story this morning. Since Clay wants his private life private, his camp his not likely to confirm or deny. I would be surprised if David’s reps didn’t clarify the comments if it indeed came from there. Afterall, Jaymes is his sister and he is also a good and respected friend of Clay’s.

As a fan I want to enjoy Clay’s music and other talents, support his philanthropic efforts and rejoice for him in whatever happiness he may experience in his life. I do not feel I am entitled to know anything more about him.

This is completely out of character of Clay and I don’t think he & Jaymes are even a romantic couple – this is too fishy, too timely, and designed for creative sabotage.
Clay better watch his back though – all the rumors and lies won’t stop sadly, no matter what he does.
