Clay Aiken Sings Sexyback

Wow… first Blake Lewis and Chris Richardson but now Clay Aiken becomes the third former American Idol contestant that I’ve found singing Justin Timberlake’s “Sexyback.” LOL.

Even though he’s making fun of it, I think he’s sexy and cute, wrapped into one.

This was a completely OTT mocking of himself and the whole music scene . There isn’t another singer out there willing to put himself out there like that . Well , maybe Weird Al .

I’ll admit I thought it was gonna be too weird to hear Clay this and the other songs in the medley. But damn, not only can he actually sing everyone of them, its done in a way thats really funny.Taken out of context it might seem strange but all together you get it. He’s freakin fearless. Go Clay. Thank God your out there.There’s no one else like you and I for one think your great.
Clay was just making fun of himself, saying he’s not cool, but then wanted to sing some songs that might help him be cool and get on the radio. This was one of them. Everyone loved this segment during his summer tours. He was clearly being funny and silly. But you know, that song is really so dumb, and Justin sounds silly as well singing it as a real song. Justin should be embarrased–bragging that he’s bringing sexy back! What ever made him think he is even considered sexy? What a joke. Now take Clay–there’s a truly sexy guy, sexy without even trying. Clay’s a total class act–gorgeous, smart, funny, intelligent and talented with the best voice on the planet.
I was at this concert and it was awesome! Loved every minute of the meledy. Clay sure did bring the sexyback. JT however did not. I like the song but I think Clay sings it much better!
I think it was fun for Clay Aiken to perform Justin Timberlake’s Sexyback for a minute or so. He needs a little break from those big power ballads that he’s so good at for a second.
You also forgot about the rock band Poison. They also did a cover of Justin Timberlake’s Sexyback on their latest album which is mainly cover songs of their favorite bands. That song has such an infectiousness and catchiness to it that everyone wants to sing it.
