I just adore Jordin Sparks spirit and always love her singing! This girl made me a fan after singing “I Who Have Nothing” on American Idol at age 17. I still feel she is very under rated Idol and her new CD “Battlefield” has so many great tunes! Jordin, get better and stay focus….Love you girl!!

Love Diana DeGarmo’s EP Unplugged in Nashville now available on Itunes, CDBaby, Rhapsody,Amazon and emusic. The EP is terrific. It is great to see Diana branching into songwriting with this EP. She co-wrote all four songs on the EP. Can’t wait for Diana’s next project in country music. It will be terrific.

It was announced through Playbill yesterday that Diana DeGarmo will participate in an industry reading for the show Carrie. Part of the Playbill article is below with the announcement of the cast.

The cast will feature Foster (Shrek, Thoroughly Modern Millie) as gym teacher Ms. Gardner, Mazzie (Passion, Ragtime) as Margaret White, Molly Ranson (August: Osage County) as Carrie and Damiano (Next to Normal, Spring Awakening) as Sue.

Also revealed are “American Idol” finalist Diana DeGarmo (Hairspray, The Toxic Avenger) as Chris, Matt Doyle (Spring Awakening, Bye Bye Birdie) as Tommy and John Arthur Greene (West Side Story) as Billy.

The Carrie ensemble includes Corey Boardman (Next to Normal, Altar Boyz), Lilli Cooper (Spring Awakening), Katrina Rose Dideriksen (Things to Ruin), Benjamin Eakeley (Sweeney Todd), Emily Ferranti, Kyle Harris (The Cure), Philip Hoffman (A Catered Affair), Kaitlin Kiyan (Hair), Max Kumangai (What’s That Smell?), Mackenzie Mauzy (White Noise), Preston Sadleir (Mrs. Sharp), Jonathan Schwartz (The Fantasticks) Bud Weber and Sasha Weiss (Jerry Springer).

American Idolrunner-up Diana DeGarmo ain’t so sweet anymore — she’s going to shower a girl with pig’s blood in “Carrie” the musical.

Via Playbill, it seems the musical adaptation of 1976 horror movie “Carrie” may be coming to Broadway, an “American Idol” in tow. Diana DeGarmo has been cast as “Chris” for this industry reading/performance. Chris is the girl who masterminds Carrie’s fake Prom Queen win and subsequent pig’s blood shower. Why, Diana DeGarmo! You naughty girl!

Diana DeGarmo today had her hair done at Harlow Hair Salon in Nashville getting ready to attend tonight’s CMA Music Awards show. Just a few minutes ago, she posted a picture on her Twitter page showing the Jovani dress, she will be wearing at tonight’s event. She looked terrific in the Jovani dress.
