Constantine Maroulis “God Bless America” at 2009 U.S. Open

September 16, 2009 by Jeanne

Former American Idol contestant, Constantine Maroulis, performed at the 2009 U.S. Open over the weekend.  He sang “God Bless America” and, like David Archuleta’s performance of “America the Beautiful,” I thought it was a solid and reverent delivery of this incredibly patriotic song.

Even though GBA is not my favorite of the traditional patriotic songs, Constanintine did a beautiful job – start to finish. He actually sings it almost like a prayer, as it was written.
