Constantine Maroulis “God Bless America” at 2009 U.S. Open
September 16, 2009 by Jeanne
Former American Idol contestant, Constantine Maroulis, performed at the 2009 U.S. Open over the weekend. He sang “God Bless America” and, like David Archuleta’s performance of “America the Beautiful,” I thought it was a solid and reverent delivery of this incredibly patriotic song.
Have a listen and let me know what you think:

God Bless America was outstanding.
Constantine’s voice gets better and stronger everytime I see him.
He is still my idol.
THANKS for the video.
Wow! That was pretty darn good. Great vocal control.
God Bless America was quite beautiful. Perfect vocals.
I could see, feel and hear his emotions. Great Job Constantine!
Constantine sings from his heart, and he blows me away every single time with his pure, clear, powerful vocals that ring so beautifully and touch my soul. He remains my only Idol to this day.
Thanks for sharing this performance so others can experience it.
Pretty good. I saw him in Rock of ages. He does a good job in it. Fantastic show.
Even though GBA is not my favorite of the traditional patriotic songs, Constanintine did a beautiful job – start to finish. He actually sings it almost like a prayer, as it was written.
