Constantine Maroulis Stars in Rock of Ages

Former American Idol finalist, Constantine Maroulis, was offered a role in Grease on Broadway but Constantine turned down the role in order to appear in the off-Broadway production of Rock of Ages because he felt he could be more creative. Wow. I guess I can understand that Rock is a better fit for him than Grease so, good for him for having the guts to take the role in the less popular show. I’m sure he’s going to do a great job!
He also talked about how he is very single (just letting you know, ladies!).
I loved Rock of Ages, Constantine was awesome, the show was funny and great entertainment. I’m going back to see it again.
The Rock of Ages house was packed again tonight- and wow- what a great show! From the conversations I heard all around me, people are going back for the 2nd and 3rd time and spreading the word. Terrific music, superb cast (including American Idol finalist Constantine!), plenty of hilarity and touching moments- and a feel good message.
Bravo to the entire company for giving us all something to sing about!
I saw the show for the first time yesterday afternoon. It was awesome!! I can’t wait to see it again. Constantine truly shines as shy Drew and the rest of the cast are also great. He made the right choice choosing this over Grease.

I agree that Constantine made the right choice choosing this over Grease, I for one think this is much better than Grease- or maybe I just seen so many takes on Grease, it got old?… Let’s just say……
