Cook and Archuleta Sing "Hero" on American Idol Finale

David Cook and David Archuleta performed “Hero” (which you might know best from the Spiderman soundtrack) together on last night’s finale and I thought they did a good job.  It was definitely more suited to Cook’s style but it worked out.  I really like that song so having the two Davids sing it was great!

    That was absolutely brilliant! I could watch this clip over and over again, and find it difficult not to get all teary-eyed each and every time.

    I am a huge David Archuleta fan and so disappointed that he didn’t win! All those weeks of watching and voting for nothing. I do wish David Cook the best! And I hope to hear David A sing again and release a Cd. I will be the first to buy it.

    I thought that was the best dual performance throughout the season. It was at that moment that I said ‘yes, this makes sense having them both as finalists.’ so as a democracy rules: the best cook won.

    I loved this performance. I’m so glad Cook won and I think this was a great example of how versatille he is as a singer. Both Davids complimented each other well in Hero
