David Archuleta on Mike and Juliet - Video
American Idol runner-up, David Archuleta, was on Mike and Juliet this morning and he was as adorable as ever! The audience went crazy!
He spoke about the lack of privacy he now has and the fact that paparazzi follow him (he said most of them are polite, though!). His mother, who he describes as being more like him, is not so thrilled about all of the attention but they are all getting used to it. David also said he is preparing for the Idol tour and since he is still a minor, his father travels with him wherever he goes.
Juliet asked if he is dating anyone and whether he has ever had a girlfriend (no!). He said that he thinks he is too young to be dealing with all of that. He’s so adorable! Watch the interview:

I’ve seen many of David A’s interviews since the AI finale…and this was by far the BEST one to date! Not only did Juliet make it easy for David to engage, but her questions were a nice change from the ones every other host is asking. And, she truly seemed to adore him. Daivd’s performance on their morning show gave me chills.

Wonderful interview. Juliet was obviously a fan and David was fun and funny. His performance of “Angels” was fabulous. I loved the screaming, dizzy fangirls, adult women - not tweens nor grandmas - in the audience. And he brought them to tears with this ability to connect to the audience. I keep on reading about those hurtful comments about David A. Omigosh people, he is only 17! Do you remember what you did when you were at that age? For one, I was shy, insecure and not talented at all! Give David A. a break!
