David Archuleta Sings "God Bless America"
October 11, 2008 by Jeanne
American Idol season 7 runner-up, David Archuleta, sang “God Bless America” at the American League Championship Series Game 1 between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Boston Red Sox. I thought he looked and sounded really great. He doesn’t have any connection to either city, though, right? I am not saying he shouldn’t have been at the game but I’m just wondering if there is any reason for it. Know something? Put it in the comments!

This kid can sing anything (those are not my words though) He is just superarchietalented. I just love this kid, is like an obsession… O.D.D. Obsessive David Disorder (jiji)
Beautiful! Take notice America – someone that can really sing!
Regarding his connection to one of the teams, David was born in Florida and lived there for awhile. His grandparents (Lupe’s parents) live in Florida. His performance was sooo incredible. I can’t believe how he came breath new life into God Bless America like that.
I loved David’s performance, he made it his own and you could still tell it was God Bless America. He just has an awesome voice!
Imagine that? someone who can actually sing without any fancy instruments! Way to go David! You were absolutely fabulous!
Can’t wait to see you on Dec.3 (hey Crush is playing on 107.9 as I write!) Jingle Ball here I come! Sacramento’s 107.9 rocks!!

WOW, I just love his pure voice, none better.
I could listen to his velvet voice forever. Since he’s going to be around a long time, I’ll be able to. No young man deserves more. He’s the real deal. He’s humble –once more, he’s adorable!
