David Archuleta Sings National Anthem at Utah Jazz Game

American Idol season 7 Top 3 contestant, David Archuleta, returned home to Utah for his homecoming and was asked to sing the national anthem at the Utah Jazz basketball game last night.  Man, I used to love the Utah Jazz back when they played the Chicago Bulls a couple times in a row for the championship.  I actually fainted once from stress (had to give up basketball, actually) because Michael Jordan had a stomach flu, I thought we were going to get a break and when he saw the Bulls were losing, he actually got up and helped win the game -dehydrated and all.  It was like a Gatorade commercial come to life.  Wow.  All these years later, I didn’t even know I still had all that frustration in me, lol.

Anyway, all that to say that it must have been pretty cool for David to sing the anthem last night.  I will be looking for some hometown pictures for David Cook and Syesha Mercado but I may not get anything up until later tonight (still unpacking).

Have a great weekend!

Well, I was able to find one song Syesha will be singing this week….
“the real revelation was the secret fax from Idol judge Randy Jackson naming one of the three songs Mercado will have to sing Tuesday night: Alicia Keys’ If I Ain’t Got You.”
I think she will do very well with this :-)

syesha needs to learn how to stay in tune and stop screaming… just because it’s loud, doesn’t mean it’s good.
and learn how to vibrato correctly, too.
she just moves her head up and down, which is totally wrong.
she doesn’t deserve to be in the top three.

Sorry you guys but no one i mean hardly anyone speaks english in the usa anymore its now politely called slang.

You want english talk to some peeps from england they will glady tell you what your speaking is far from english.

Aren’t we lucky we live in a country that allows such freedoms so that all languages are intergrated in our lives or are we back to the dark ages when cruelity and stupidity rule out equality.

thanks very much i will now go back to my slang peeples…..

kayzee, m’dear, you apparently suffer from the same racism and entitlement as your ancestors who gave the native Americans blankets with smallpox. Now THAT’s the good ol US of A!
