David Archuleta Sings With REO Speedwagon
June 2, 2009 by Jeanne
REO Speedwagon made a stop in Salt Lake City during their “Can’t Stop Rockin’ Tour” and guess who jumped up on stage with them? American Idol season 7 runner-up (and Salt Lake “area” native), David Archuleta.
I spotted the video of the “Roll With the Changes” performance on MJs Big Blog and, while it isn’t the whole thing and the quality isn’t great, you can see how much energy David is putting into it. Still, fans of REO Speedwagon don’t seem like the type to also adore this squeaky clean cutie pie but he did get some good applause (not quite like the accolades he gets from his young fans, though). Watch it here:

david archuleta rocked!! this guy can really sing his behind off, and he is proving to be one of the most dynamic live artists today.. he has a new itunes release out on june9th, with a killer track on it called ”zero gravity”… highly recommend you go and download it from itunes on the 9th….
Like Randy said, “If you can sing, you can sing anything,” and David Archuleta proves this day in and day out with a versatility few artists can match. It’s going to be a blast watching his musical progression. I agree with Brian regarding “Zero Gravity.” It’s an awesome song!
No doubt about it. David Archuleta has some mighty awesome vocals. Evidently Kevin thought so too or else he would not have invited him up to the stage. The future of some music seems to feel a little brighter right about now. Stay tuned for what is in store from this amazing young man.
David Archuleta is an amazing singer. I’m sure he has a bright future ahead of him.
