David Cook at NBA Finals Game Tonight!
American Idol winner, David Cook, will be singing the national anthem at the Staples Center tonight for Game 3 of the NBA Finals when the Boston Celtics take on the LA Lakers!
I believe this will be the first time David will perform the national anthem at a major sporting event since he sang “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” when he visited the Kansas City Royals.
It’s a big moment for David! I know Idol is a huge show and all but it’s different than being out in the “real world” where people who don’t watch the show will see him for the first time. Does that make any sense?
I will try to have video up as soon as possible but, again, I am away from my desk and apologize.

Jeanne I believe this is game 3…LOL…not a big fan of basketball ‘eh…lol, it’s ok mama…I’m looking forward to watching the game tonight =)

I thought he did a great job (slight note fumble at the beginning) but he looked absolutely terrified, poor guy. I guess singing the national anthem is a bit nerve-wracking!
