David Cook Sings National Anthem at NBA Finals – Video

American Idol winner, David Cook, sang the national anthem when the Boston Celtics visited the LA Lakers at the Staples Center last night. It was a great game (the Lakers have insured that they will not be swept by winning Game 3).
I think the rendition started a little rocky but got better in the middle. Can you imagine how nervous he must have been? This is a HUGE event. I’m so happy for him! What did you all think about it? Did you miss it or want to see it again? Here it is:

I think Skankwell is wearing him out! He looks exhausted and he’s losing his voice. He certainly didn’t sing up to his potential. And he looked like a deer in headlights.
He needs to rest his voice and focus on his career, not “ms. ride on the coat tails of a rising star because she couldn’t achieve it herself”.
I’m sorry but I have to be honest. The rendition of the National Athem by David Cook sounded awful. I know he’s tired and his voice needs a rest but that should have been easy. What was he looking at. I know there were lots of stars and famous people but David Archuleta sand the National Anthem in front of stars and famous people and he really did an awesome job. He sang with passion and was so calm. That’s the sign of a true entertainer. I don’t want to be took hard on David Cook but he supposedly has stage experience. He did great on American Idol. Well, it’s over. But my favorite is David Archuleta and I think he is going to prove to be the real talent and he will be around for a very long time.
