Diana DeGarmo EP “Unplugged in Nashville” Now Available!

After announcing the release of the new albums by Kelly Clarkson and Taylor 
Hicks, I got many emails from you readers reminding me that there was another American Idol releasing music this week.
Diana DeGarmo has released an EP titled “Unplugged in Nashville” which is now available on CD Baby, Itunes and Rhapsody. Here is the tracklisting:

The songs are all acoustic so the focus is on Diana’s pure vocals which, of course, are amazing. I’d love to hear what you guys thought of the music.

Love the song Find Me from Diana DeGarmo’s EP Unplugged in Nashville. Diana DeGarmo co-wrote the song Find Me with Rachel Thibodeau and Jason “Slim” Gambill. Rachel Thibodeau wrote the song Good Directions for Billy Currington and the song I’ll Still Be Me for Martina McBride. Jason Slim Gambill is currently on tour with Lady Antebellum. Diana DeGarmo was at Club Purgatorio in NYC on October 17, 2009. She was attending a VIP Preview Party at Purgatorio a Fantasyland. People in attendance at the event included: Perez Hilton, Pia Glenn, Marnie Schulenburg, Krysten Ritter, Ash Fulk and Patrick Heusinger. The pictures being shown on the internet are great. Diana wore a great red dress with boots to the event.

On October 23, 2009, the National Examiner gave a review and said Toxic has a perfect cast including a recent addition American Idol finalist Diana DeGarmo, who is innocent and slutty all at once. And the little lady has a great big voice. There are also several great videos over at You Tube of Diana DeGarmo performing My Big French Boyfriend and Choose Me Oprah from the Toxic Avenger.

Diana DeGarmo today attended a lunch with people from Billboard. The surprise guest was Neil Sedaka. Diana posted this today on both her Twitter and Facebook webpages.

Diana DeGarmo will be attending the 43rd Annual CMA Music Awards show tomorrow night Wednesday, November 11, 2009 in Nashville. This years show will be hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. Diana will be wearing a hot pink dress designed by Jovani.

It was announced through Playbill yesterday that Diana DeGarmo will participate in an industry reading for the show Carrie. Part of the Playbill article is below with the announcement of the cast.
The cast will feature Foster (Shrek, Thoroughly Modern Millie) as gym teacher Ms. Gardner, Mazzie (Passion, Ragtime) as Margaret White, Molly Ranson (August: Osage County) as Carrie and Damiano (Next to Normal, Spring Awakening) as Sue.
Also revealed are “American Idol” finalist Diana DeGarmo (Hairspray, The Toxic Avenger) as Chris, Matt Doyle (Spring Awakening, Bye Bye Birdie) as Tommy and John Arthur Greene (West Side Story) as Billy.
