Diana Degarmo was my favorite on American Idol. This was sure a great interview clip. Looking forward to here interview and performance of her song Right Back Where We Ended this Thursday on American Idol Extra.

It is great that two interview were done with Diana for American Idol Extra. She will have a great career in country music. Loved her on the CMT show Gone Country.

Great interview clip on American Idol Extra with Diana DeGarmo.

Can’t wait for Diana Degarmo’s new country album. It should be a great album. It would be great if Diana Degarmo recorded a duet with James Otto. The song would be a definite hit single. Both appeared at an Evening with Danielle Peck in Nashville. A charity event for Safe Haven.

A duet with Diana DeGarmo and James Otto for Diana’s new album would be great. Hopefully, the idea is in the planning stages.

The interview is below:

American Idol’s Diana DeGarmo is back in the spotlight, and this time it’s for a great cause. Diana is the spokesperson for CMT One Country, a volunteer group that’s all about helping individuals make a difference. This past weekend, CMT One Country joined forces with Youth Service America for Global Youth Service Day, the largest volunteering event in the world!

Diana has been really busy helping teens get involved, but she still found time to chat with Seventeen about the event. “There’s not one specific goal in mind — it’s all about community,” she said. “CMT One Country has made it so easy to get involved, and it’s great to be working with them. The community has gotten me to where I am today, and I’m so happy to be able to give back.”

Global Youth Service Day, which took place worldwide over the weekend, offered thousands of volunteer events that illustrated the importance of community service. For Diana, getting involved in the community is a great learning experience for teens. “It really makes you thankful for what you have,” she said. “You can see that a lot of people need help, and do something about it. It opens your eyes to the world.”

Diana Degarmo has sure been busy recently. She has been interviewed by OK Magazine, Seventeen Magazine and US Weekly. It is great to see her doing concerts, making lots of appearances and giving interviews.

Diana Degarmo was on American Idol Extra on Thursday, May 15, 2008. She performed Right Back Where We Ended. The song from the Gone Country finale. Her performance of the song was outstanding.

Diana DeGarmo will be appearing at this year’s CMA Music Festival in Nashville. The event is several days with every major country artist. Diana will be appearing on June 8, 2008. The details are below:

The new Diana DeGarmo album will be great when it is released. The song “Right Back Where We Ended” was great on the Gone Country finale.
Diana has released a preview song clip from the new album on her MySpace page. The new song is called ” Better with Time” The song has gotten very positive responses from everyone that has heard the song.

Love the new song clip from Diana DeGarmo on her MySpace page. The song “Better with Time” is outstanding.

Diana DeGarmo has sure had a busy 2008 moving to Nashville and being in the hit CMT show “Gone Country” with Bobby Brown, Maureen McCormick and Carnie Wilson.

Diana also attended the CMT Music Awards show with the cast of Gone Country. She and the cast of Gone Country introduced Kenny Chesney.

Diana DeGarmo has signed with John Rich of the country group “Big and Rich” and is working on a country/pop album. JOhn Rich will be the producer of the album. The album will have songs written by Gretchen Wilson and JOhn Rich. Diana is also hoping to have on the album songs that she has co-written with Shanna Crooks, Trevor Rosen, and Shannon Lawson. The album will have the song from the Gone Country finale Right Back Where We Ended that was written by Diana, Shanna Crooks and Keith Stegall.

This month at the June Jam 2008, Diana DeGarmo performed debuted two new songs: “Mr. Right” and “Thank YOu”. The videos can be found on You Tube and are great. At the event Diana also performed Right Back Where We Ended. Definitely go to You Tube to check out the videos.

-Diana will take part in a special holiday concert tour put on by American Idol’s associate music director, Michael Orland, and three other former Idol finalists including Constantine Maroulis, Kimberley Caldwell and David Hernandez. The four artists will perform Christmas music at the concerts. So far, four dates have been revealed, and are as follows:
