Diana DeGarmo Summer Event Updates
I was over on American Idol season three finalist, Diana DeGarmo’s MySpace page and I saw that she has added some dates to her calendar. Here are some dates (anyone going? Would love to hear about it!):

Autograph signing for CMT from 4-5:00pm. - June 7, 2008 - 7:30pm June Jam @ Brenau University Amphitheater in Gainesville, Georgia. 2nd Annual June Jam Charity Concert benefiting “A Greater Purpose” 30 minute show and meet & greet.
- June 8, 2008 - 4:30 PM @ CMA Music Fest! in Nashville.
I will be hosting the Riverfront Grand Finale Show from 4:30-6:30pm.

Fantastic to see Diana DeGarmo is back to making appearances this summer. The Lonestar and Friends Strike Out Bowling Party to benefit ST Jude Hospital was a huge success and was completely sold out.

Today, at the CMA Music Festival Diana Degarmo was at both the CMT and GAC booths for the great and meet autograph sessions. There were people everywhere.

Diana DeGarmo did a radio interview today to promote the Breneau University concert in Georgia. She said at the concert she will be performing 3 new songs. One of the new songs will be Right Back Where We Ended from the Gone Country finale. Two new songs that were just recently written with songwriters that she is working with in Nashville. She will be testing the songs out in front of a live audience and if all goes well she hopes to include them on her forthcoming album.

I just checked out Diana DeGarmo’s new MySpace page and it is excellent. The new pictures of her are great and really reflective of her new country music career.
Great to see Diana DeGarmo is enjoying her move to Nashville and making many new contacts. Her MySpace page lists LeAnn Rimes, Gretchen Wilson, James Otto and Dolly Parton.

Diana DeGarmo gave an interview on June 6, 2008 to World Talk Live Radio. She talked about her experiences on American Idol, Broadway, and on Gone Country. She also talked about appearing at this weekends CMA Festival and also about her concert this weekend in Georgia. She sang acapella the chorus of Right Back Where We Ended. A great interview.

Diana Degarmo was great at the June Jam in Gainesville. Her song set included: Dreams, Chain of Fools, Till You Want Me and Right Back Where We Ended. She also sang two new songs one about Bad Boyfriends and the second was about her experience on the USO Tour. She was great.

It sure is great to see Diana DeGarmo doing radio interviews, concerts, television shows and making appearances again. She was also great on Broadway.
At the June Jam at the Breneau University, Diana Degarmo performed great to Right Back Where We Ended. She performed with backing tracks for her set of songs which also included Dreams, Chain of Fools and two new songs that she performed live for the first time.
Diana Degarmo did an interview Friday for World Talk Live. She confirmed that her new album will have songs written by John Rich and Gretchen Wilson. Diana also said that she and John Rich will be in the recording studio starting next weekend for about a week and a half.

Today at the CMA Music Festival, Diana Degarmo will host the Riverfront Grand Finale on Sun., June 8, from 4:00-6:30 p.m.
Country music artists slated to appear at the finale include Raul Malo, Rissi Palmer, T. Graham Brown, LoCash Cowboys, Greg Hanna, Cowboy Crush and Josh Gracin. Highlights from the week-long celebration will be televised in a 2-hour TV special that will air on ABC on September 8 at 8pm

Diana DeGarmo was amazing at the June Jam in Gainesville at Breneau University. Her performance of Right Back Where We Ended was excellent. It was great to see her performing live again in concert. Her voice was in top form. She is better than ever.

According to Diana DeGarmo’s MySpace page today, she is writing songs today with Shannon Lawson for her forthcoming album. Shannon Lawson is a member of the MuzikMafia since 2004 and has written many hit country songs.
Way to go Diana Degarmo can’t wait to hear the song when your album comes out.

From the June Jam on Saturday, the videos are now posted on You Tube. They are great. Diana DeGarmo sang two new songs at the event and the videos are on You Tube. The first song was called Mr. Right. The second song was called Thank You and was written about her USO tour experience. The response has been very positive for both songs.
The songs are rough cuts and Diana just wanted to test out the songs in front of a live audience.
Both songs have received excellent feedback and are great.

Saw the new songs that are now posted on You Tube from Diana DeGarmo and agree the songs are outstanding. Love both songs. Mr. Right was a great energetic fast song and Thank You is a great ballad.
Both songs are excellent for a rough draft and can’t wait for the finalized versions when she goes into the recording studio.

Just saw the videos for Diana DeGarmo’s two new songs on You Tube and they are both outstanding. Mr. Right and Thank You will both be big hit songs. June Jam 2008 looked like it was a great event.

Agree with everyone saw the video of Diana DeGarmo’s new song from June Jam 2008 called “Mr. Right” on You Tube. The song is fantastic.
Diana Degarmo did an excellent job debuting this new song at June Jam “Mr. Right” will be a big hit song when it is released on Diana’s forthcoming country album.

Really like the videos on You Tube for Diana DeGarmo’s two new songs that she tested out at the June Jam in Gainesville, Georgia. The first song was called “Thank You”. This song is a beautiful ballad written about her USO experience a very Patriotic song. “Thank You” is a great song and should definitely be included on Diana’s new album.
The second new song was called “Mr. Right” an uptempo song that is very well suited to Diana Degarmo’s very energetic personality.
Two great new songs from Diana DeGarmo definitely want to check out the videos on You Tube for the songs “Thank You” and “Mr. Right”

Saw the new videos of Diana DeGarmo on You Tube from June Jam. Agree with everyone the new songs are big hits. Right Back Where We Ended, Thank You, and Mr. Right sounded great on video over at You Tube.
Just was at Diana Degarmo’s MySpace page and she has a new song clip posted of a song called “Better with Time” This song sounds like a huge hit also. Her new album is sure going to be great.

Great news everyone Diana DeGarmo went into the studio today with John Rich for about a week of recording sessions to work on her new country album.
Diana officially confirmed at June Jam that Right Back Where We Ended will be on the album along with songs written by John Rich and Gretchen Wilson.

Rumors are starting to circulate that Diana DeGarmo has landed a part in a revival of the play Godspell. This would sure be great Diana was outstanding in Hairspray, Brooklyn and Westside Story.

Diana DeGarmo has just officially announced that in December, she will be taking part in a holiday music tour with former American Idol contestants.
-Diana will take part in a special holiday concert tour put on by American Idol’s associate music director, Michael Orland, and three other former Idol finalists including Constantine Maroulis, Kimberley Caldwell and David Hernandez. The concert will be a night of Christmas music. Four dates so far have been officially announced.

This is an outstanding idea having a holiday music tour with Diana DeGarmo performing Christmas music. Saw Diana DeGarmo a while ago, perform to if I remember right it was “Rocking around the Christmas Tree” and also the “Christmas Song” and she was great. She has always performed really well to Christmas music.

It is sure great to see Diana DeGarmo appearing at great events like tonight. She will be at the grand opening of the FUSE nightclub in Nashville. Appearing at the event are Billy Ray Cryus and Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flats. The event is hosted by Kid Rock. Diana will sure have a great time at the event. Can’t wait to hear about it!!!!
The holiday Christmas tour will be great with the American Idol Alumni’s that begins in October. Diana DeGarmo will be with a great group of people like Constantine, David Hernandez and Kimberley Caldwell. Diana has so many great Christmas songs that she performs to like: Grown Up Christmas List, Rockin Around the Christmas Tree, and the Christmas Songs are some of my favorites that she has performed to in concert. It would be great to hear her perform to O Holy Night. Her voice would be amazing.

Tony Award nominee Gavin Creel and 2004 “American Idol” finalist Diana DeGarmo will star in a revival of Stephen Schwartz’s 1976 Broadway musical, “Godspell,” producers Adam Epstein, Broadway Across America, Stewart Lane, and Bonnie Comley announced Tuesday. Preview performances will begin September 29 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre.
Daniel Goldstein (”All Shook Up”) will direct the revival of the musical, whose original run ended 31 years ago. Joshua Henry, currently performing in “In the Heights,” will also join the cast, playing Judas opposite Mr. Creel’s Jesus.
Mr. Creel received a Tony nomination for his lead performance in “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” and Ms. DeGarmo played Penny Pingleton in the Broadway production of “Hairspray” after making her name on “American Idol.”

Diana DeGarmo has performed in some great events this summer. It started off at June Jam 2008 where Diana performed Right Back Where We Ended from the Gone Country finale and continued on last week at Tin Roof and Dan McGuinness Pub.
Really enjoyed Diana DeGarmo at her concert at the Tin Roof in Nashville on August 4, 2008. She performed many new songs her song set included the following songs:

On September 6, 2008, Diana DeGarmo will be appearing with American Idol Alumni’s Justin Guarinin and Chris Sligh in Connecticut at the Ledyard Fair. It will definitely be a great event.
Since American Idol, Chris Sligh has recorded a Contemporary Christian Album called Running Back to You on Brash Records. The record label is an independent label located in Atlanta. The album is doing very well on inspirational charts according to Billboard Magazine.
Justin Guarini was the first runner up to Kelly Clarkson on season one of American Idol. He has also been very busy since Idol ended and this season was a host for TV Guide Channel for all of their coverage on American Idol.
Diana DeGarmo has also been very busy since American Idol ended. She appeared on Broadway in New York as Penny Pingleton in Hairspray. Most recently she was seen in the CMT hit show Gone Country with Bobby Brown, Dee Snider, and Maureen McCormick. The show was the highest rated series for CMT in their 25 year television history. On the shows finale, Diana DeGarmo performed the song Right Back Where We Ended that she wrote with the legendary Keith Stegall and Shanna Crooks. Diana also performed Right Back Where We Ended on this seasons American Idol Extra.
After Gone Country wrapped production, Diana DeGarmo moved to Nashville and was signed to John Rich’s production company. He is the producer of her new country/pop album. John is from the very successful country group Big and Rich. The album will also include a song by Gretchen Wilson.
In April, Diana Degarmo appeared with the cast of Gone Country at the CMT Music Awards show. The cast introduced Kenny Chesney.
In June, Diana DeGarmo appeared at the CMA Music Festival. She worked at both greet and meet sessions for CMT and GAC stations. She also was the host of the River Front Finale Stage. She also appeared at the June Jam 2008 in Gainesville, Georgia and debuted two of her new country/pop songs “Thank You” and “Mr. Right”.
In July, Diana DeGarmo appeared at the Grand Opening for the nightclub Fuel and also appeared at the WETbar in Atlanta.
In August, Diana appeared at the Tin Roof and a couple of other nightclubs in Nashville. She debuted several new country/pop songs such as Pieces and Find Me.
Definitely want to see Justin Guarini, Chris Sligh and Diana Degarmo at the Ledyard Fair in Connecticut on Saturday, September 6, 2008. It will definitely be a great day of live music.

Diana DeGarmo is being shown the month of November 2008 on the TV Guide Channel with the show American Idol Rewind. Re-live Season 3 of American Idol on Friday nights at 8pm and the show will encore on Sunday nights at 9pm. American Idol Rewind does have exclusive 2008 interview with: Diana DeGarmo, George Huff, Jasmine Trias, and Camile Velasco. Definitely want to check out American Idol Rewind on the TV Guide Channel.

Great news, Diana DeGarmo has officially announced that she is planning an EP release for December. She made the announcement during a live interview on October 30, 2008 on rickey.org for Rickey TV.
Definitely keep an eye out for Diana DeGarmo’s mini album. The album will be country.

Great to hear from everyone that Diana DeGarmo is planning a mini album (EP) release for December 2008. It has been way too long since we have heard new music from Diana DeGarmo. I have heard several of her new country songs and they are outstanding.
