Elliott Yamin to Appear on Montel

American Idol cutie-pie, Elliott Yamin, will be making an appearance on Montel on November 29th.  I will tape it and hopefully put up some screen shots and video for you guys!

Here’s what it said on the Montel website:

Today’s hour packs two big musical talents in one show! We’ll hear the real story behind these two performers. Elliott Yamin was discovered on season 5 of one of America’s most-watched shows, "American Idol." He has overcome diabetes and a hearing disability (he’s 90% deaf in his right ear) to become one of the hottest new singers on the r&b/soul/pop music scene today. Today we’ll hear about Elliott’s rough childhood, his struggle with diabetes and hearing loss. We will also surprise Elliott with a video message from his buddies at power 92.1 in Richmond, Virginia, who remember Elliott as the shy, quiet guy who worked overnights, but would go far with his voice. Mary has diabetes and wears the same insulin pump that Elliott does. Mary, a huge fan of Elliott’s has not only overcome diabetes, but is also an aspiring singer. Mary will be shocked when we give her the surprise of her life. We will hear how Elliott’s music has helped a marriage. Michelle and Thomas say "Wait For You" is their song because despite the obstacles in their marriage – depression and marital separations – they always come back together and will stay together. Elliott will treat this special couple by singing his runaway hit, "Wait For You." We will also hear from guitarist, Slash, of Guns ‘n Roses who shares his story of battling back drug addiction to start a new successful band, Velvet Revolver, and become a happy family man.
