Fantasia on Aretha Franklin’s Duet Album
The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, is coming out with a duets album and it sounds like it could be amazing! The album is slated for a fall release and will be called “Jewels in the Crown.”
The album will include performances with Whitney Houston, Elton John, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey and Keith Richards, among others, along with a pair of technology-enabled duets with the late Frank Sinatra and Luther Vandross.
The record’s leadoff single, “Put You Up on Game” with “American Idol” winner Fantasia, will be issued to radio Oct. 1.
The Arista Records release is the Detroit star’s first album in four years. There’s still no date for the much-postponed debut album on Franklin’s own Aretha Records, tentatively titled “A Woman Falling Out of Love,” originally scheduled for release this summer.
What do you think? It will be interesting to see what Whitney Houston and Keith Richards are going to contribute to this album. Can’t wait to hear that first single!

This is crazy, I have been searching to hear that song again with Aretha and Fantasia, It as on the radio with 107.5 The Wendy Williams Experience, and everybody I tell about the song think I am crazy. I cant wait.
