Fantasia’s Daughter Loves Her
Awww… Fantasia Barrino has been making waves on Broadway with her portrayal of Celie in The Color Purple. The critics love her and her baby girl does too!
Worried that Zion (her 6 year old daughter) would not understand the show, the singer, 23, tried to explain she was acting to her and was surprised by her daughter’s reaction afterwards.
I didn’t think she was going to get it. I sat her down and tried to tell her, ‘Mommy’s not really being hit, Mommy’s just acting.’ After the show, she told me, ‘Mommy, you are beautiful.’ She’s very proud of what Mommy’s doing, and that makes me very happy.
I’m really happy for her. It’s hard out there for young mothers and she is showing that early motherhood does not have to mean that the future is bleak and your dreams are over. Keep going strong, Fantasia!

dat’s good that fantasia taked the time to talk to Zion and explain to her what’s going on with her career. I think that fantasia is a great mother and I wish her well

Fantasia is a great mother indeed,and Im glad that she is taking time to be a Mother and a star because some ceebraties dont take with their kids like they should and Zion is precious little princess I have a icture where she is actually signing autographs with her mommy!

I dare not leave without commenting on that powerful picture posted above! She sang with so much emotion that night! I was crying and shaking,When her bottom lip strted quivering I was through!!!

I just love you when i seen you on american idol i didn’t stop watching it i was down wit you from the beginning i said you was going to win this one i really don’t pay any attention to it now i may watch it from time to time. keep doin what cha doing with your daughter it sounds like you are doing a very terrific job with her. may God bless you and keep you out of harms reach. i still look at your videos on american idol and just cry my heart when i hear you sing you just sound so good your voice is so powerful.
