Hinder Offers to Write for David Cook
American Idol winner, David Cook, is planning to release his first album this November and, now, he might get a little help from the band, Hinder, who you might know from their 2006 hit, “Lips of an Angel.”
Lead singer, Austin Winkler, had the following to say about our Cookie: “I dig David Cook. He shows that the world is starving for a little bit of rock-n-roll. Hopefully we can write some tunes for him.”
Apparently, the band was in the audience during the Idol finale where they briefly met David. I think a collaboration could be cool and I am really excited to see what a David Cook album sounds like!
The members of Hinder seem to have a thing for Idol winners - drummer, Cody Hanson, had some extremely nice things to say about Carrie Underwood: “I love her. She’s my favorite of everything, and probably the hottest chick on the planet.”
