Idol Face Off – David Cook vs. Lionel Richie

Okay, I normally only put American Idol (or the international Idols) but I felt that David Cook’s performance of “Hello” last week was so good it could go up against the original by Lionel Richie. What do you think? No disrespect, by the way – you can’t touch Lionel Richie!

David Cook’s version totally blew me away! I’ve been playing it for everyone who walks through my door and again at Panera this morning when the conversation turned to American Idol.
He’s awesome! Each song he’s taken and made at least a part of it his own. This time, he took total ownership and WOWED everyone!!!
I thought David’s Performance was one of the Best of the season. Love it !

David Cook is the real deal! I get chills when he performs his version of these songs! Definitely should be the winner, and if not, I’ll still be looking to buy his music!
I like Lionel’s version. It is more soul than rock . I prefer soul so it is Lionel Richie for me.
