  I’m sorry but Jasmine didn’t cut it for me that season. She tried hard, I give her that but…nahhh, IMO she should have gotten voted off the AI island long before she did. Sorry guys.

  Hmmmm………before I listened to the two of these I thought “this is a no brainer”…I was wrong. Kelly’s voice is so powerful and she did a great job on this….but Jasmine, IMO, was better in this particular song. Her voice is not as strong as Kelly’s but it worked here…… I liked the tone more.
  I love Kelly…but I’m not enjoying some of the music she is making now. Her voice is amazing, I do hope she takes care of the gift she has.

  i kinda agree with what shirljan thought. i remember saying during jasmine’s season that what was jasmine thinking taking on a kelly song. but now revisiting idol, she’s not that bad as simon portrayed her to be. anyways, Kelly has really powerful voice and she can definitely blow but the way she sang “you’re all i need to get by” was like wild and random. with jasmine, however, it was systematic and i really like the runs of the song. and her overall tone.. sweet yet powerful. this coming from a kelly fan, idk whats simon’s hearing but jasmine can definitely sing! this round to jasmine!
