Idol Hopeful Luke Menard Battling Cancer
You might have already heard but, I was over on TVGuide.com and saw this story about American Idol contestant, Luke Menard, battling cancer. The 29-year-old semifinalist has been diagnosed with Stage II Hodgkin Lymphoma. Initially, he showed the signs of walking pneumonia (chest pains, cough, etc…) but tests have confirmed the presence of a mass. “Though this type of cancer is usually inoperable, the success rate of treatment is very high.”
I hope he has a full and speedy recovery. That is really sad news! I will be keeping my eyes open for updates and if you have some, feel free to send them my way!

My heart goes out to him. It is a horrible way to find out something, but I hope he caught it in time.

i am a follower of luke menard since the start of amercan idol… i was so sad we i heard the news i will be praying for your fast recovery luke…you have a prayer warrior here in the philippines… god bless you…
