Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Fantasia Barrino, the winner of the third season of American Idol, has been dropped by 19 Management.  According to “sources” (yeah, take it with a grain of salt!), “creative differences” are the reason for the split.

The article goes on to point out that Fantasia’s debut album, Free Yourself, sold almost 2 million copies and the follow-up, Fantasia, went gold and was nominated for three Grammy awards. That’s pretty good when you consider how “hit-and-miss” Idol record sales can be!  Oh well… I hope she finds exactly what she needs because I really do believe she is talented.

Wow! I was really surprised to hear about Blake getting dropped though. He had so much promise…what happened, does anyone know?
