Is David Hernandez a Gay Stripper???
This little news item comes from Vote for the Worst so it’s up to you whether it’s believable but there’s a rumor floating around that American Idol seven contestant, David Hernandez, used to work as a stripper at a club named Dick’s Cabaret.
If you are interested in this kind of thing, there are a bunch of quotes from some alleged former clients of David that can be seen here.
I have to say that I don’t know what this has to do with his singing. Do you care what he did/does as a job before Idol? I actually don’t. What about the million things that people have done that we don’t know about???

Quite honestly, I can care less what the contestants did prior to being on Idol. I mean, I’m interested in getting to “know” them and knowing the fun facts about them. But if Robbie really wears a wig, or if Amanda really was arrested because of a DUI or if David H really was a stripper in his past life, it won’t affect if I like them or not in the least. Sadly, I cannot say that of everyone. I think it’s pretty ridiculous to expect the Idol contestants to be perfect - I don’t get and never got that concept. They are human, just like you and me and everyone else. And as such, they make mistakes, bad decisions, etc…
So yeah, I don’t really care if he was a stripper or not! Won’t change the fact that I like him.

Personally, whatever this young man did in his past is just that; his past. One no is any position to point fingers at no one. However, David should have realize that when he is in the eyes of the public; everything you’ve done in the past and present is going to eventually will be publicize. My only advice for David is; like Vanessa L. Williams did after she was ask to relinquish her crown after racy photos of her published in Penthouse August 1984 were publicize; “Allow success become your best revenge”. Also, someone out there will eventually sign him to a recording contract regardless of his past. Keep the faith, never give up on your dream. If it’s in your heart to become a recording artist; you have to believe in yourself and let the past be just that-the past!
