Jared Cotter Interviews Jason Castro on The Sauce

May 13, 2008 by Jeanne

Last night on The Sauce, last week’s eliminated American Idol contestant, Jason Castro, was on where he was interviewed by Jared Cotter from season six.  I am always really happy to see former contestants doing well because it shows that Idol really can open unexpected doors.  They talked about Jason’s experience on the show and whether “I Shot The Sheriff” was really a Bob Marley or an Eric Clapton song (uhhhh, come on – it was written by Marley!!!).

I really loved Jason Castro this year. From his first song until the moment he left. His studio versions of the songs he sang are wonderful. And i loved watching him on the show every week, I’ll miss him tonight.
I have to say that Jared Cotter is really good at this! I had no idea he was doing interviews on this show!. He is so much better then some of the others I’ve seen interview the Idols (Rosanna Tavares) . He’s very natural and seems interested yet very cool and calm. Not condescending or obnoxious. Really liked him. Good career move I think.
