Idol Stalker

Jason Castro on Tonight Show - Video

by Jeanne on May 9th, 2008

Jason Castro was on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night with Huey Lewis of all people!  Jay Leno talked about Jason about his experience on American Idol and when Jason would reply, Huey would sing about his response.  It was pretty silly actually but a little funny.  What do you guys think of all of the appearances the eliminated contestants make on talk shows?  Sometimes it’s good to me and other times it just seems exploitative.

One interesting thing - Jason said he is thinking about getting a new look.  Hmmm… Watch the video:

We love Jason……will not be watching American Idol anymore because Jason was the most unique and the rest of the singers are boring. They have the same sound every week.

After 7 seasons of watching and voting, and the elimination of Jason Castro - the 1st original pure sound to come out of that show… I think I am done with it. For a while the judging was kinda funny, but with Jason, it was just mmean and cruel. Why do they continue to make them sing those horrible theme songs? Let them sing and showcase the kinds of music and styles that if they were to win the show, they would actually produce and sell. I loved the original premise of the show, of being a platform for new talent, but not any longer! Wake up idol, and Simon - get over yourself and go back to the UK!!!

Jason Castro was so refreshing on this show. He was real, authentic, honest, humble and has so much heart. I really respect him for saying how he really thinks and feels. Others may think the same way but would never dare say it out loud. His sound is also so unique, pure, and unaffected. I predict he outsells everyone. I cannot wait for his cd to come out!
