Jennifer Hudson at "The Secret Life of Bees" Premiere in Toronto

Former American Idol contestant, Jennifer Hudson, has accomplished so much that I am almost reluctant to even mention the fact that she was ever on Idol.  However, I do realize that the show got her recognized so I’m sure she’s grateful but has she ever proven that you don’t need to win some contest to be truly victorious. 

Here are some pictures of her from the premiere of her newest film, “The Secret Life of Bees.”  It opened last night at the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival.  I know the movie is based on a novel but I haven’t read it.  If you want to see a trailer or get a brief preview about this film, visit Film Gecko.  In the meantime, check out these great shots!
