Jennifer Hudson Mother, Brother Killed – Nephew Missing

This has been a terrible and tragic day for American Idol star, Jennifer Hudson. Her mother, Darnell Donnerson and brother, Jason, were found shot to death in her mother’s apartment on the South Side of Chigago this afternoon.
It’s also being reported that a 7-year-old boy, possibly the Academy Award winner’s nephew, is also missing. An Amber Alert has been issued for little Julian King. Please take a good look at him and contact the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children if you have any information about his whereabouts.
Neighbors reported hearing gun shots in the morning but Hudson’s family members were not found until mid-afternoon.
The police have a suspect in mind, William Balfour, but they haven’t explained his connection to the family, what might have caused this (except that they think it might have been related to a domestic disturbance) and what his motive could be for taking the little boy.
Jennifer is said to have been in Florida when she heard the tragic news. She has been working hard recently promoting her upcoming film The Secret Life of Bees. My thoughts are with her and her family at this sad time.
*update – William Balfour, who is married to Jennifer’s sister, Julia, has been taken into custody for questioning. There has been no update on the whereabouts of Julian King.

This is absolutely insane. Strange and tragic things happen in the most bizarre way. My best wishes and prayers also go out to Jennifer in her time of loss.
This is very sad and tragic, but what else we can do that pray for her mother and brother, i think she would immediately see how people support her and love her and be with her in these difficult times. Best wishes for her and her famility in their loss.
