Jennifer Hudson Nominated for 7 NAACP Awards

Jennifer Hudson has been nominated in seven categories at the 2009 NAACP Image Awards and I couldn’t be happier for her. 

As you know, 2008 ended very badly for the singer/actress after her mother, brother and nephew were murdered and her brother-in-law was formally indicted for the crimes.  Let’s hope that these nominations are just the beginning of a better year for Jennifer.  I know it can’t bring her family back but it is something positive.
