Jennifer Hudson “Will You Be There” at Michael Jackson Memorial
July 7, 2009 by Jeanne
Former American Idol finalist, Jennifer Hudson, was accompanied by a choir as she took the stage today at the memorial service for Michael Jackson. It was a powerful and touching moment and I had held it together pretty well until the very end when they played Michael’s speaking part from the song.
I noticed that the heavily pregnant Jennifer looked up several times during the performance and I’m sure she could relate to the pain the Jackson family felt since she lost her own family last October.
Watch the moving musical tribute:

great tribute. yesterday watched the whole funeral , it was so sad. Especially his daughter tribute was so emotional.
we would miss MJ.

Yeah I agree, he will be much missed, I loved MJ’s music grew up to it, my mom was an big MJ fan, I don’t think the tears stopped rolling down my face the whole memorial, at least the media and people finally got what they wanted, now he can’t be bothered anymore with nonsense and people trying to get rich for no reason, rest in peace MJ, see you when I get there.

Jennifer you are truely a trooper. It is amazing how you show courage in the time of need. The level of strength you have, I know God is very much in control. This had to have taken you back a bit to the losses you have faced in your own family. I will always love and respect you as a person of heart first, and as a multi-talented artist with great honor to others in any circumstance.
