Jennifer Hudson’s Botched "Movies Rock" Performance
Well, it’s good to know that even incredible singers like Jennifer Hudson can give an "off" performance, even if this one’s cause is being attributed to a "piano glitch."
Still, Jennifer was so unhappy with how her performance of West Side Story’s signature song "Somewhere" turned out that she ended up singing it all over again. There was one problem, however.
Online blogger Marc Malkin reveals, "She insisted on a redo because of a piano glitch. Producers obliged, but it occurred after the theatre was cleared and most were on their way to the after-show party."
Now I want to see the performance even more!

[…] American Idol powerhouse, Jennifer Hudson, belted out a version of West Side Story‘s "Somewhere." They did a good job of splicing the two performances. I would have never known that she sang this after the audience had left! […]

I’m sorry, but Jennifer Hudson is still reeling from her reviews for Dream Girls. She tackled the song Somewhere as if it was one of the songs from DG. She needs to becareful about the over singing that she was caught doing on American Idol. I have to disagree on the opinion that she sings better than Carrie. I’m not a country music lover but that girl can sing on key and at such a clear and perfect pitch.
