Jordin Sparks Doesn’t Regret Duet With Chris Brown
June 12, 2009 by Jeanne
American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks, has been asked a lot of questions about working with Chris Brown since the singer was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Rihanna.
She recently said: "I don’t regret recording that with Chris at all. I want to keep Chris on that track because he was the original person on that track and that’s how it should be."
The song “No Air” was a huge hit for Jordin and I feel that it was a turning point in her young career. It introduced her to fans who might not have otherwise been interested in hearing something put out by an Idol winner and, truly, I think it was just a good song and music video.
I’m glad she has no regrets but I also have to admit that my own personal opinion of Brown has really changed and I am less inclined to listen to his music these days.
What do you think? Have your feelings toward Chris Brown changed and would you regret the collaboration if you were Jordin?
