Jordin Sparks Gets Super Bowl Break

The Arizona Republic is reporting that American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks, will be singing the anthem at Super Bowl XLII. I’m sure many of you know this but Arizona is Jordin’s home state and this is where the Super Bowl is being held this season. Talk about being from the right place at the right time! That is going to get her seen by so many people who don’t watch Idol so that’s great! Super Bowl Sunday is like a national holiday for me, lol, so I hope to be able to tape it.

I watched/listened Jordin sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. If there were ever any questions about her talent in winning Idol, they should all be answered now. She looked beautiful and sounded like a glorious songbird. She was FABULOUS!!!
I cannot get over the rude behavior of Simon when Melinda was voted off. “I comiserate with you Melinda.” Not good. His behavior really turned me off. All three of the contestants were wonderful. Each a little different that’s all.
