Jordin Sparks on Regis and Kelly – Video

American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks, was on Live with Regis and Kelly this morning and she looked incredible!  She had some red streaks in her hair so Kelly Ripa asked her if that was her real hair or if it was clip-ons.  Jordin explained that it wasn’t real but that her hair underneath was colored orange to raise awareness of melanoma (a form of skin cancer).  Her “second mother” passed away from the disease just two weeks ago.

She also went into greater detail about her vocal cord hemorrhage and revealed that she was able to go to her prom, only the audience thought her date was funny (she quickly defended her choice) – she went with her brother. 

She sang “One Step at a Time” and I like the song but the performance was a little rough in parts to me (it got better as she went along).  She looked fantastic, though.  Watch the interview and performance below:
