Jordin Sparks Thinks Performing in Hometown is “Cool”
Jordin Sparks, the reigning champion of American Idol, will be performing in her hometown of Glendale, Arizona during one of the stops on the American Idols Live Tour.
The 17-year-old champ says she’s excited to perform on her hometown stage - and she expects her friends to be in the audience.
“I’m totally looking forward to it because it’ll be great to see everybody who comes out,” she said.
“I mean, i’ve gone to concerts at the arena that we’re going to perform at so it’ll be weird being on the flip side of it instead of being in the audience. So it’ll be cool, it’ll be interesting.”
Sparks says she’s excited to belt out songs like her single “This Is My Now” on her hometown stage.
“Yes, i’ll be fine singing it over and over again, ’cause i like it so much, so it’ll be cool.”
