Jordin Sparks Wants to Mix Kelly Clarkson and Beyoncé!
American Idol season 6 winner, Jordin Sparks, has been working on her upcoming debut album and recently, she gave some insight into how things have been going:
“It’s going well. We’ve had some meetings, and the other night I recorded a song. I can’t tell you details or anything like that, but I am very excited about it.”
The singer said she wanted to mix the sound of former ‘American Idol’ winner Kelly Clarkson and Beyoncé on the record.
“It’s hard to get at what my sound is,” she said, “but I think that’s what I’m trying to get.”
From what I have heard, Jordin is trying to wrap recording up in time for a Thanksgiving release but she will be on the American Idol tour this summer so I guess she’ll have to work on her days off. That’s tough!
Can’t wait to hear it!
