Katharine McPhee at "Spirit of Life" Dinner

American Idol season 5 runner-up, Katharine McPhee, attended the 2008 Spirit of Life Award dinner in honor of Doug Morris this past Wednesday.  I’m not loving that dress, folks, sorry.  I know that some of you might like it but I think it’s a disaster. 

Does she look a little trim to anyone or is it just my eyes (or this angle?).  I know I heard grumblings that people were calling her “Fat Kat” (I can’t remember from where and I can’t find it!) after her appearance in House Bunny.  Yes, she looked larger than her ultra thin co-star, Anna Faris, but come on!  Katharine is a healthy, slim woman.  Hollywood needs to stop putting so much unnecessary pressure on females.  So wrong!
