Katharine McPhee In Montreal for Cancer Fundraiser

Okay, this is weird. Tomorrow, May 5th, 2007 local celebrities will attend the Denim & Diamonds event to raise money for young adult cancer patients in Montreal. Apparently the even if one of Hollywood’s favorite Montreal-based events with its chic “Old Hollywood Glamour.” The funds will be allocated to the Hope & Cope cancer support organization which is based out of the Montreal Jewish General Hospital.

Katharine McPhee will appear alongside Montreal television personality, Sonia Benezra. It will take place at the Bonsecours Market, 350 St-Paul Street East, Old-Montreal at 7pm.

Here’s the weird part. Not only was I born at the Jewish General Hospital but the host, Sonia Benezra, is an old family friend! I don’t live in Montreal anymore or else I would go but I couldn’t believe the coincidence!
