Kellie Pickler Defends Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan

American Idol season five’s Kellie Pickler is sick of people talking about the flaws of Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton.
In a recent interview, she told The Tennessean, “All you hear about lately is Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton and these girls’ addictions. I get disgusted when I turn on the television and see them getting made fun of. If anything, we should be trying to uplift these people, not put them down. The biggest thing is we’re not supposed to judge each other. We’re sitting around pointing fingers, laughing and being judgmental and being hypocrites. That’s ignorant, to me.”

i agree with kellie pickler. actually paris and lindsay are young rich girls enjoyin youthship and should not be condemed for every lil silly act. they need to be encouraged tell them more about life and give them time to change. its going to be like watching an investment grow, trust me it works. thanks.

Well, surprise, surprise! Of course she is defending them. That’s where she is headed. The land of nothingness, just like Paris and Lindsay. All three of them have this like clueless air to them that makes them all fit into one category. The reason why she’s defending them is because she wants to be like them! Lord have mercy!

They are all young girls and Kellie simply feels bad for them.

I am inclined to agree with Lauren only b/c Kellie has prtrayed the same dizzy cluelessness as at least Paris. She does sound a little bitter that she is not getting the same attention.
I am also inclined to agree with Osase b/c we should not be judging these girls;however, they have the power and money to make a difference and be a positive role model but they chose to party instead. I mean even Paris made a statement saying she is not going to act dumb anymore so she knows exactly what she was doing in acting like a ditz but I think the fad is fading and maybe Kellie realizes it and is upset b/c she was too late and the dumb act isn’t funny anymore. She is being very hypocritical in her statement when she is acting in the same ditzy way.
But, at the same time, we really have to point the finger at these girls parents (not Kellie cause we know her “parent” story). But I mean look at Paris’ parents…they condone her partying and seem as clueless as her about reality. Look they want to throw her a get out of jail party and she is going to get paid $800,000 to have her party at Hard Rock in Vegas…WTH!!!!!…I can’t even blame Paris anymore after seeing and hearing her parents actions. Everyone around her is enabling her to act the way she does. She is in there for DUI/ driving w/suspended license and look…as soon as she gets out people are pushing her to drink and party…everyone knows that is the last thing she needs to be doing.
So, Kellie needs to just get over it…I didn’t see her going to visit Paris and being supportive…come on Kellie stop faking already….Kellie is all about herself, she doesn’t care about Paris or Lindsey but rather what they can do for her.
Amazed –please tell me you were refering to the $53 bag on that site!!! Anything else was outragous! I saw one for $1600…for a purse???!!! Crazy to pay that much for it to go out of style in a month…only the rich folks!

Gerri G, yes she could have killed someone. I don’t condone Paris’ lifestyle at all, I just feel that her parents have a lot to do with it. And it seems they still have no clue.
