Kelly Clarkson Covers “The Climb”
September 21, 2009 by Jeanne
American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson, had a little fun with her friends covering Miley Cyrus’ hit song “The Climb” from her Hannah Montana: The Movie soundtrack. This is just yet another reminder of what a great singer Kelly is and, of course, this was informal but I thought the harmonizing was pretty great.
Have you heard it? Listen to it and tell me what you think!

That was beautiful! I love singing and hearing harmonies. The extra layers just adds a whole new depth and dimension to the song and mature voices give the lyrics a broader meaning, at least for someone like me who is not a teen.
I agree 100% with what you said. Kelly’s exceptionally talented, but let’s give Jill and Kate credit, too — their beautiful voices made the song shine.
THEY ARE AMAZING THEY SHOULD HAVE 1 SONG TOGETHER IN THE ALBUM NEXT TIME.
KELLY YOU ARE SO TALENTED AND YOUR FRIENDS TOO. I LOVE IT.
defff give j&k credit. they are extremely talented and it’s mostly jill’s voice you hear in that cover. love love love those girls. and if you want to hear what they sound like on stage, here’s a vid i found of jill and kate singing ‘walk away’ during the GMA soundcheck http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FNANphCZrc
