Kristy Lee Cook "15 Minutes of Shame"
September 1, 2008 by Jeanne
This is an acoustic version of Kristy Lee Cook’s single “15 Minutes of Shame.” The American Idol season 7 finalist belts out a revenge-type of song and I think it’s actually pretty good. I wasn’t Kristy’s biggest fan while she was on the show but I think that when she sings music that is better suited for her voice, she sounds great! I like the lyrics too. We’ve all been there, right?

Fantastic! If anyone has any doubts about her talent, this should erase them. I bought her first CD and it is Fantastic. “Good Luck”, the first song on it is Great. Can’t wait for “Why Wait”.
I have to disagree! The song is great and I don’t doubt her talent - how could you? But it sounds as if she is forcing her voice out of her throat… and not really opening up to sing.
i loved her on the show. i felt like she wasn’t accepted this season cuz she was a country girl in a season of rockers. but i love her, and i love 15 mins of shame. i think it’s such a good song. and yeah, haha. been there.
I heard this song this morning on my way in to work.. I LOVED IT! I’m a country music fan.. and knew this had to be someone I’d never heard of before. I don’t watch American Idol.. it’s wayyyy too pop for me. So.. for me to like this song.. love the voice.. it’s got to be a good one and a darn good singer, too.
Hope to hear it often on country radio…
