Kristy Lee Cook Signed by Arista Records!

American Idol season seven finalist, Kristy Lee Cook, may not have won the competition but she has scored a record deal with Arista Nashville! Here’s an interesting bit of history: Kristy was signed by the label as a teen but was dropped before she could even record anything!
Her album is expected to be released this fall.

Yay! I’m really excited for her. A lot of people didn’t like her but I feel she had at least 2 performances in the Top 12 that beat everyone elses.
I always liked Kristy’s voice. I thought she and Syesha were 2 of the top people on the show. I think most of the younger fans pretty much follow the judges lead. They were hard on her so she didn’t really develop that strong a fan base.

I predicted back when Kristi Lee Cook made the top 10 that she would become the most successful idol of season 7 and all indications are she will be a country superstar. Good for her!!
