Kristy Lee Cook’s new album and single

Season 7 Finalist Kristy Lee Cook may not have made it to the end, but that isn’t going to stop her pursuit of a country music career! According to Country Music Stop, her first single, 15 Minutes of Shame (love the title!) will start getting airplay on August 12th.
Meanwhile, the full album, Why Wait will have its release on September 6th. Kristy Lee’s fans will be pleased to know that the album will include a cover of “God Bless the USA” which was arguably her best performance the entire season, even earning praise from her biggest critic, Simon Cowell

I’m not a Kristy fan, but I noticed on the AI boards they are saying the album is called “Plant A Seed”, not “Why Wait”. Personally, I like “Why Wait” better. Can anyone could clear this up?

i really like her. i liked her on the show too and wasn’t thrilled to see her leave when she did. i think she wasn’t liked cuz she was a county girl in the “rocker” season. but i really like this song and i’m happy for her. i’m glad she’s going country for a cd. and i can’t wait to hear more from her! (: good job kristy!
The album is “Why Wait”. There were rumors floating around the net that it was Plant the Seed…however, that rumor was put to rest fast with the official news release about her album and release date. I can’t wait to buy her album. Go Get ‘Em Kristy.

The 15 minutes of shame is good, but I had the opportunity to hear a snipp-it (is that a word) of “like my mamma did”, Ithink that was what it was and WOW, wait till you hear this. It is freakin great!!!
